Umar Khalid gets 7 days interim bail in 2020 Delhi riots case News in Hindi: Delhi court has given 7 days interim bail to former JNU student leader Umar Khalid in the Delhi riots conspiracy case to attend a family wedding.
Let us tell you that Umar Khalid has been granted interim bail to attend the wedding ceremony of his cousin. The court has granted interim bail to Umar Khalid from 28 December to 3 January.
Khalid had sought 10 days interim bail to attend the wedding, but the court granted him seven days bail with conditions.
Khalid has been in custody since his arrest by Delhi Police on September 14, 2020, in a UAPA case over the alleged larger conspiracy behind the February 2020 northeast Delhi riots, in which 53 people were killed and over 700 were injured.
