Reiterated its support for their role in maintaining security in the region. UN peacekeeping chief Jean-Marie Lacroix told reporters that Secretary-General Antonio Guterres confirmed on Monday that peacekeepers would remain in all their deployment sites. Israel has urged peacekeepers to move five kilometers north during ground attacks in Lebanon.
