Under-19: Madhya Pradesh defeated Gujarat by 6 wickets, won the Cooch Behar Trophy title for the first time.

Indore. Madhya Pradesh’s Under-19 team has won the Cooch Behar Trophy title for the first time. In a thrilling final, Madhya Pradesh defeated Gujarat by 6 wickets. Gujarat had taken a lead of 38 runs in the first innings but Madhya Pradesh bowled them out for 133 in the second innings, reaching the required 172 runs for victory by losing four wickets. Kushagra Nagar, selected from the Under 16 team, scored 71 runs. Yashvardhan Singh scored 550 runs and took 57 wickets in the entire tournament. He was declared Man of the Series of the competition. The coach of the Madhya Pradesh team was Sunil Dholpure and the captain was Manal Chauhan.
