Under suspicious circumstances, 8th class student jumped from the 9th floor of the house, died…family in shock

Kanpur, . A student studying in class 8 under Nawabganj police station area in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of the house under suspicious circumstances. According to family members, the tuition teacher had given homework to the son but he could not complete it. Hurt by the teacher’s rebuke, he jumped from the balcony. The family took him to the hospital. Where he died. The police, which reached the information, sent the child’s body for post-mortem and started investigating the case.

The child’s mother Bosco Tripathi told on Wednesday that her son Prakhar (14) lived with her husband advocate Sudhanshu Trivedi. Her husband is addicted to drinking alcohol. Due to which there was always discord between husband and wife. Hurt by this, she had also filed a case of domestic violence against her husband and for the last four years, she has been living with her daughter in her parents’ house in Kalyanpur. On the orders of the court, she is allowed to meet her son once a month but she alleges that her husband does not allow her to meet the son.

Told that some time ago, during a meeting with his son, he had told that father beats me after drinking alcohol and also threatens to tell anything to anyone. Therefore they allege that the son has not committed suicide. Rather he has been forcibly thrown down from the balcony.

There he told that his son Prakhar had gone to school. After coming back from school the tuition teacher reached home. He didn’t do his homework. About which the teacher had complained to his grandmother Sumanlata. After which Prakhar was also reprimanded. After this he got angry and went to his room and then who knows when he committed suicide by jumping from the balcony of the ninth floor of the house. After the child fell, father Sudhanshu took him to a private hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

Nawabganj police station in-charge Keshav Kumar Tiwari said that the child’s mother has leveled allegations against her in-laws. So, it has been told by the family that the teacher scolded him for not doing his homework. Because of which he has taken this suicidal step. Advance legal action is being taken in the matter by sending the body for post-mortem.
