Many types of schemes are being run in India to empower women so that they can be made financially self-reliant. One of these schemes is Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation (TGMFC) scheme through which free sewing machines are being given to unemployed women.

Women willing to avail the benefits of this scheme can easily apply from TGFMC official website. However, it has to be kept in mind that the benefits of this scheme will be available only on the basis of certain conditions. For example, the family income of a woman living in a rural area should be less than Rs 1.5 lakh and the income of a woman living in a city should be less than Rs 2 lakh.
