An unexploded World War II era bomb was found on a road in Singapore on Thursday before it was removed for disposal.

Singaporean police said they received reports about a suspected war relic at 239 Sime Road, a country club called Keppel Club, The Straits Times reported.

Singapore Island Country Club, which neighbors Keppel Club, told its members that the bomb was removed at about 5 p.m.

Traffic was re-routed and areas were barricaded following the discovery of the bomb.

Keppel Club on Friday said the bomb was discovered near the club’s car park by a staff member, CNA reported.
