New Delhi. Lathi charge on the Chowkidars and Dafadars protesting in Bihar is now costing heavily on the Bihar government itself. National President of NDA’s ally Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has strongly criticized his own government. Chirag Paswan has condemned the incident and termed it insensitive. This statement of Chirag Paswan has increased the concerns of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

Recently in Patna, the capital of Bihar, organizations of Chowkidars and Dafadars were protesting against the government. To end the protest, the government had lathicharged them. In this matter, Union Minister Chirag Paswan has expressed his anger on the social media platform X. Chirag Paswan said that the use of force to suppress the voice of these loyal employees, who are the backbone of security, is shameful for any civilized and sensitive system. He said that compromising the livelihood and dignity of these families who have served for years in the name of reform is not acceptable at any cost.

Chirag Paswan has not limited himself to just rhetoric. Chirag has formed a high-level delegation under the leadership of MP Arun Bharti. This delegation will soon meet Bihar Deputy CM cum Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary and submit a detailed memorandum. In the memorandum, strict action will be sought against the officers responsible for the lathi charge and a permanent solution to the problems related to the service of chowkidars.
