Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary distributed household certificates to 74 beneficiaries of the Swamitva Scheme.

Regarding this, while addressing everyone in the Collectorate auditorium, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said that the ownership scheme provides undisputed and clear ownership rights. Now no one will be able to deprive the poor of their homes.

Clearly demarcating property boundaries will prevent mutual disputes. It has become easier for property owners to get loans from formal banks and now household recipients are also becoming financially stronger by becoming self-employed. This scheme has also made it easier to identify government and private land, which will make it possible for the administration to plan and prevent encroachment. Land selection for construction of new buildings will also be easy. He said that Swamitva Yojana is a revolutionary step which is proving to be a boon for the poor.

The Union Minister of State for Finance said that Prime Minister Modi is providing housing, education, food, medicine etc. to the poor without any discrimination. The Prime Minister is completing the work which was not done in the last 70 years in record time.

Earlier, District Magistrate Anunay Jha said that till now 1,25,278 housewives have been distributed in more than 700 villages in the district. Today itself, houses are being distributed to a total of 5111 people. Under the Swamitva Scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Delhi distributed 65 lakh Swamitva Property Cards through video conferencing. More than 50,000 villages from 12 states and union territories participated in the programme. The people present in the Collectorate auditorium also watched the live telecast of the program from Delhi.

A large number of beneficiaries including District Panchayat President Ravikant Patel, MLA Sadar Jaimangal Kannaujiya, MLA Paniyara Gyanendra Singh, BJP District President Sanjay Pandey, Superintendent of Police Somendra Meena, Chief Development Officer Anuraj Jain, DFO Niranjan Surve were present in the program.
