Unni Mukundan’s Marco enjoys a clear blockbuster shot in Kerala; eyes Rs 100

Marco is causing a tsunami at the box office with Unni Mukundan in the major role, . The film Unni Mukundan made a healthy Rs 14 crore on its first weekend of release. Additionally, a stronghold was observed throughout the weekdays. On Thursday, its seventh day, the film brought in about Rs 2.55 crore, and it ended its first week at the Kerala box office with about Rs 27.55 crore.

As it began its second weekend, the film made between Rs 2.35 crore and Rs 2.50 crore today (Day 8), and it is getting closer to the Rs 30 crore milestone in its native state.

In addition to its domestic box office performance, the film is achieving remarkable success abroad. Within eight days of its debut, Marco has brought in almost Rs 56 crore at the global box office.

Thanks to its excellent word-of-mouth, the graphic action-thriller, which is backed by Cubes Entertainments, is doing very well. In its second week, it was able to outperform the recently released Kerala film Barroz.

The Telugu-dubbed version of Marco will now be released by the producers and will be shown on huge screens starting on January 1. Additionally, 140 additional shows have been added in the Hindi markets to increase the film’s audience. In the upcoming days, the team anticipates a huge response in these two areas.

Marco has already surpassed Malikappuram (Rs 53.30 crore), the previous record holder, to become Unni Mukundan’s highest grossing film. If everything goes according to plan, Marco will end its theatrical run by becoming a massive blockbuster and breaking into the Rs 100 crore club at the global box office.
