Fog creates chaos in UP; 14 people died in a terrible accident in four districts
UP Accidents News: Road accidents have occurred in many districts of UP due to fog. So far 14 people have lost their lives in these accidents and many have been injured. Many vehicles have become victims of accidents due to dense fog in Mathura, Baghpat, Unnao and Basti of the state.
Fortuner collides with boulder in Unnao, 4 killed
A Fortuner car traveling at a speed of about 100 km per hour on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Unnao at around 6 am on Tuesday overturned after hitting a boulder placed on the airstrip in Bangarmau area. The collision was so severe that all the airbags of the car opened.
Four people, including the young man driving the car, died in the accident. The driver is suspected to have dozed off amid the fog. After about seven minutes, the police reached the spot, took out the people trapped in the car and took them to the CHC, where the doctors declared everyone dead.
Bus-truck collision in Basti, four killed
A private bus going from Sant Kabirnagar to pilgrimage city Ajmer collided with a truck. In this accident, four passengers lost their lives on the spot, while more than 20 people were injured. The condition of many of the injured is said to be critical. This accident happened around midnight on Monday near Badevan Four Lane of Kotwali Basti area.
Car fell into Hindon river in Baghpat
While returning from Meerut after raid, a car slipped from Balaini bridge and fell into Hindon river late on Monday night. Two people in the car, including a head constable, were killed, while three people, including a constable, were injured.
When the police of Balaini and Singhawali Ahir police stations reached the spot, the car was found in a damaged condition at one end of the river. Policemen and other people were taken out of the car and taken to the nursing home, where doctors declared Rahul and Azaruddin dead.

Horrific accident in Mathura
On Monday night at around 2 o’clock, speeding vehicles collided with each other amidst dense fog in the lane going from Agra to Noida on Yamuna Expressway. Seven buses and two cars caught fire in the accident. Many people were trapped inside the vehicles, while some saved their lives by jumping from the buses. So far four people have been confirmed dead.
