When it comes to OBC candidates, BL Verma’s name comes first. BL Verma hails from the Lodh community and could be a good candidate to influence the non-Yadav OBC vote base. BL Verma is also close to the central leadership. Another OBC candidate is Dharmapal Singh, a former minister in the Yogi government. They also hail from the Lodh community and have influence over the non-Yadav OBC vote bank.
