UP Board Exam 2026: Intermediate practical exams from January 24, see complete schedule here

UP Board Exam 2026: Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has released the schedule of intermediate practical examinations. These examinations are starting from 24th January. For the convenience of the candidates, the board has released the complete schedule on the board’s website upmsp.edu.in. These examinations will be conducted in a phased manner in all the districts. The first phase of these examinations will be completed between January 24 and February 01, 2026. However, in the meantime, 29th and 30th January has been declared a holiday due to the UP TET exam.

Similarly, the second phase of practical examinations will be completed between 02 February to 09 February 2026. According to the guidelines issued by the board, the district-wise schedule for these examinations has been fixed. In this, a group of districts like Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan and Basti etc. have been made, while in the second group, districts like Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur etc. have been kept.

Board issued guidelines

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines for all the principals to maintain fairness in this examination. In this, along with monitoring CCTV cameras, it has been asked to keep the recordings safe. The board has clearly said that this recording can be sought anytime as per requirement. According to this guideline, high school practical examinations will be based on internal assessment and project work at the school level.

Points will be added like this

Marks of moral education, yoga, sports and physical education will also be added to the marks of high school practical examinations. Principals in schools themselves will upload the marks online. Similarly, in Intermediate also, marks of moral education, yoga, sports and physical education will be added online on the board’s website upmsp.edu.in. The portal for this will open from January 10, 2026.
