Asaduddin Owaisi has written on social media X, 'AIMIM workers are being targeted by filing false cases in Kakrauli village of Mirapur, Muzaffarnagar. A case has been filed against at least 80 workers. False cases have also been filed against those women who had shown courage against police hooliganism during the elections. It is not Yogi's administration but misgovernance.

AIMIM workers are being targeted

AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that false cases have been registered against more than 80 AIMIM workers in Kakrauli village of Meerapur, Muzaffarnagar. He claimed that false cases have been filed against the women who were raising their voice against the 'hooliganism' of the police during the elections. This action was allegedly taken by the police because the workers were raising their voice against them.

Attack on basic principles of democracy also

Owaisi termed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's administration as 'misgovernance'. He said that this government is working keeping democratic values ​​aside. Apart from this, Owaisi also accused the state government of implementing repressive policies and indicated that this issue will be raised at the national level.

Case registered against more than 100 workers

It is noteworthy that votes were cast for the by-election on Meerapur assembly seat of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh on 20 November 2024. During this time, cases have been registered against more than 100 SP and AIMIM workers for pelting stones and attacking the police in Kakrauli area.
