UP Farmer’s Loan Rate Reduce: The Uttar Pradesh government has announced big relief to the farmers of the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that now small and marginal farmers will get loans from Cooperative Village Development Bank (LDB) at only 6% interest rate. The government will bear the remaining interest burden. The state government will pay the remaining interest under the Chief Minister Krishak Samridhi Yojana. Till now, about 11.5 percent interest was charged on the loan received from LDB, which was becoming an additional burden on the farmers.

This was announced by CM Yogi during the Youth Sahakar Conference and UP Co-operative Expo-2025 organized at Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in the capital Lucknow. This event was organized under the International Year of Cooperation 2025, in which many important issues related to cooperation were discussed.

What did the CM say in praise of the central government?

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “prosperity through cooperation”, the Central Government created the Ministry of Cooperation for the first time. Under the leadership of the country’s first Cooperative Minister Amit Shah, the cooperative movement has gained new direction and strength. The declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Cooperation by the United Nations is a proof of India’s cooperative power.

The Chief Minister said that there are more than 8.44 lakh cooperative societies in the country, with which more than 30 crore people are associated. In the last 11 years, due to digitization, e-governance and use of technology, transparency in the cooperative sector has increased and corruption has also been curbed.

Plan to increase interest free loan limit

Lakhs of new people have been added by running membership campaign through M-Pax. Today there are more than two lakh accounts in district cooperative banks and deposits of more than Rs 550 crore. The Chief Minister said that before 2017, many district cooperative banks had become defaulters, but now all the cooperative banks are in a healthy condition. to m-pax interest free loan There is a plan to increase the limit from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

Yogi targets previous governments
