UP Free Scooty Yojana: Lottery for girl students of UP! Yogi government is going to give 70 thousand free electric scooties

Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh is continuously giving big gifts one after the other to the youth of the state and especially the daughters. Now in this series, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to open his box for the girl students of the state. CM Yogi has taken a wonderful step for the higher education of daughters, security and making them completely self-reliant. Under this, the UP government is preparing to distribute brand new electric scooters absolutely free of cost to more than 70 thousand meritorious girl students studying in different higher educational institutions of the state.

Actually, keeping in mind the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections to be held next year, the Yogi government wants to launch its very ambitious ‘Rani Laxmibai Scooty Yojana’ as soon as possible. For this, preparations at the government and government level are being carried out on a war footing. In this connection, the Directorate of Higher Education has also started collecting complete data of qualified and eligible girl students from all the universities and degree colleges of the state, so that this work can be taken forward without any delay.

There will be full care of the environment and there will not be a burden of even a single rupee on the pocket.

The thing that is being liked the most about this unique scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government is that it will not have any impact on the pockets of the daughters. The scooters available under this scheme will provide permanent relief to the girl students from the huge and daily expenses on petrol and diesel. Along with this, environmental protection and green energy will also get a big boost. This is the main reason why the Yogi government has taken a very wise decision of giving modern ‘electric scooties’ to girl students instead of giving them traditional petrol scooties.

According to initial government estimates and data, the government procurement cost of an electric scooter is coming to around Rs 55 thousand. CM Yogi has already approved and allocated a huge budget of Rs 400 crore to complete his dream project. If this entire budget is calculated technically, then about 72,727 electric scooties can be purchased from it. But even if the expenses of organizing the grand distribution ceremony, transportation of vehicles and other administrative arrangements are also added, then it is certain that at least 70 thousand promising daughters of the state will get scooters directly from this scheme.

Know when will the distribution of free scooters start and what is the government’s plan?

There is huge enthusiasm among the girl students regarding this scheme and everyone wants to know when they will get this scooter. Let us tell you that Yogi government is going to start the distribution program of scooters under this scheme very soon. To implement this, senior officials of the Higher Education Department have presented a very detailed and precise roadmap before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

If departmental sources and inside news are to be believed, then within the next six months the keys of their gleaming electric scooters will be handed over to all the shortlisted and eligible girl students. Anyway, some time ago, on the occasion of Women’s Day (8 March), CM Yogi had reiterated his commitment from a big public platform to distribute free scooties to the daughters of the state very soon, which is now being fulfilled.

Reservation rules will be fully followed in distribution of scooters, everyone will get equal rights.

Regarding this entire process of free scooter distribution, the Yogi government has already made one thing absolutely clear like glass. The government says that this entire work of distributing scooters will be done in a completely transparent and equitable manner, so that no eligible student is deprived of this benefit.

The Chief Minister believes that meritorious daughters from all sections of the society should get exactly equal opportunities to move ahead. This is the reason that on the lines of government jobs, in this free scooty scheme, the quota of scooties will be distributed with full transparency as per the reservation rules for the students of Unreserved (General), Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Divyang category.
