Based on the recommendations of the Pay Committee (2016) and the decisions of the Chief Secretary Committee, the Finance Department has issued an official order for a bumper increase in allowances. After this big decision of the government, there has been a huge increase in the allowances of employees ranging from 50 to 400 percent. New order will be implemented from administrative departments
According to the order issued by the Finance Department, this increase in allowances will be considered effective from the date of issue of the order by the administrative departments. This decision of the government will directly benefit the employees of police, excise, medical, prison and justice departments and many other departments. The government has made a huge increase in the rates of uniform allowance, uniform renewal allowance, uniform washing allowance, incentive allowance, travel reimbursement and special allowances of the employees, due to which there is a wave of happiness among the employees.
The struggle of the employees of Excise and Medical Department
According to the official order issued on Monday, the rates of uniform allowance have been increased significantly according to different posts in the Excise Department. In the Excise Department, uniform allowance has been increased from Rs 7500 to Rs 11250, from Rs 3000 to Rs 4500 and from Rs 1400 to Rs 2100. Apart from this, uniform renewal allowance has also been increased from Rs 6400 to Rs 9600, Rs 3000 to Rs 4500 and Rs 1400 to Rs 2100.
On the other hand, the uniform and uniform renewal allowance for posts ranging from student nurse to matron level in the Medical Education Department has been directly increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 4500. Along with this, uniform washing allowance has also been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 150. In the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, the uniform and renewal allowance for student nurses to senior matrons has been increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 4500. Apart from this, the uniform and renewal allowance has also been increased to Rs 4500 for the posts of Medical Service Cadre in Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathic departments.
Prison, Justice and Home Department employees also received gifts
There is also a shortage of employees in the Prison Administration and Reforms Department. Here, according to the post, uniform allowance has been increased from Rs 7500 to Rs 11250 and Rs 3000 to Rs 4500. Whereas uniform renewal allowance has been increased from Rs 6400 to Rs 9600 and from Rs 3000 to Rs 4500. The rates of traveling reimbursement and special allowances for non-judicial service officers and employees of subordinate courts have also been increased significantly. These allowances have been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 300, Rs 150 to Rs 450 and Rs 200 to Rs 600. Apart from this, revised rates of uniform and renewal allowance of Rs 4500-4500 have also been approved for Peshkar and Stenographer.
The rates of PAC allowance under the Home Department have also been increased significantly per month. PAC allowance has now been increased from Rs 1600 to Rs 2700, Rs 600 to Rs 1000, Rs 400 to 700, Rs 250 to 450, Rs 200 to Rs 350, Rs 150 to Rs 260 and Rs 100 to Rs 200. Along with this, Police Headquarters Allowance has been increased from Rs 800 to Rs 2000. There has also been a huge jump in the incentive allowance of commandos posted in four companies of PAC, which has been increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1600, Rs 328 to Rs 1300, Rs 195 to Rs 900 and from Rs 190 to Rs 800.
