UP government’s Holi gift to employees, know who will get bonus
In view of the festival of colors Holi, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has completed extensive preparations. From February 28 to March 9, maximum buses will be operated in 20 areas of the state. In view of the increasing crowd of passengers during the festival, additional buses will be run and their frequency will also be increased, so that no one faces any problem in reaching their destination.
The corporation has given clear instructions to ensure operation of more than 13 thousand buses of the state. Especially the maximum number of buses will be run on the routes going from Delhi to various cities of Uttar Pradesh, because the number of passengers increases significantly on this route during the festival season. Apart from this, additional services will also be available for Lucknow and Kanpur.
Services will increase based on load factor
The corporation has also decided that if the load factor from any originating point is more than 60 percent, then additional buses will be operated on that route. As soon as sufficient passengers are received, the frequency of buses will be increased immediately. However, there are strict instructions that unfit buses will not be allowed on the road under any circumstances.
To ensure safe travel, breath analyzer test has been made mandatory for all drivers and conductors. Enforcement teams will conduct inspections in various areas and duty will be imposed on the roster system. Holidays of officers and employees have also been canceled during the incentive period, so that there is no hindrance in operations.
