UP is more beautiful than Yamanashi! Chief Minister Yogi said in Japan – Uttar Pradesh is the best place for investment
Tokyo/Lucknow, 26 February. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on Japan tour, while addressing the press conference held in Yamanashi, described the state as the most suitable state in the country for investment. He said that Uttar Pradesh, with a population of 25 crores, is India’s largest consumer market and there is immense investment potential here. Comparing the natural beauty and resources of UP with the Yamanashi province of Japan, the Chief Minister said that just as Yamanashi is naturally rich, UP is also writing a new story of development.
Per capita income increased three times in 9 years
Yogi Adityanath said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the economic progress of the state has been very rapid in the last nine years. He claimed that the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh has increased almost three times during this period. Although he admitted that the challenges of the big state are also big, but the government has worked to convert these challenges into opportunities.
Discussion on industrial and technological cooperation in Japan
The Chief Minister discussed industrial investment, technical cooperation, agro-processing and green energy in a bilateral meeting with Yamanashi Governor Kotaro Nagasaki. Both sides agreed to give a new direction to mutual cooperation and promote investment.
UP: Hub of global investment and tourism
Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the Indian community and investors, said that Uttar Pradesh has now become the center of Deepotsav, Mahakumbh and global investment. He said that earlier the law and order and infrastructure situation was challenging, but now the roads are better and 24-hour electricity is being ensured.
Investment proposal and hydrogen facility tour in Japan
During the visit the Chief Minister visited Yamanashi Hydrogen Facility P2G and understood the clean energy technology. On the very first day, Team UP received investment proposals worth about Rs 11 thousand crores. During this, MoUs were signed with many companies including Kubota Corporation, Minda Corporation, Japan Aviation Electronics Industry.
