UP Minister Raghuraj Singh Controversial Statement: Thakur Raghuraj Singh, a minister with status of Uttar Pradesh government, has once again given a controversial statement regarding film actor Salman Khan. In the statement given in Aligarh, the minister described Salman Khan as a traitor and said that he loves Pakistan more than India and if so, then he should go to Pakistan. Minister Raghuraj Singh did not stop here, he even demanded death sentence for Salman Khan. Also appealed to the people not to watch Salman Khan’s films.

Raghuraj Singh alleged that Salman Khan earns money from India by attracting Hindus and supports Muslims along with Pakistan and Bangladesh. He also claimed that Salman Khan steals India’s money and sends it to Pakistan.

Akhilesh Yadav taunted

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on Salman Khan’s statement calling him a traitor. While posting on social media platform X, he targeted the Uttar Pradesh government minister. Akhilesh Yadav wrote, “It seems that before giving this special statement, the UP Minister forgot the common sense fact that his Sarvesvara had flown kites with the same actor a few years ago.”

The former Chief Minister further said sarcastically, “It is possible that this statement reaches Delhi and the Minister’s job is cut. Or it is possible that this statement has been made deliberately, because the Minister must have got an inkling that his retrenchment is also certain.”

After his statement, intense discussions have started in political and social circles. It is noteworthy that Thakur Raghuraj Singh has been in controversies many times in the past regarding his statements. Earlier he had said that “The more educated a Muslim is, the bigger a terrorist”, which also created a huge uproar.

Earlier, BJP’s firebrand leader Sangeet Som had also given controversial statements regarding Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. Sangeet Som had called Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders a “traitor” after he bought Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman. The controversy in that matter had increased so much that many religious leaders had also opened a front against Shahrukh Khan. Later on the instructions of BCCI, Mustafizur Rahman was removed from the team.
