On the incident of Sambhal stone pelting, Divisional Commissioner Ananjay Kumar Singh said, today the survey was to be conducted from 7 am to 11 am as per the order of the court. The survey was going on peacefully, during which some people gathered outside Jama Masjid and started raising slogans. Adequate police security was present there, however after some time they started pelting stones. It is being identified who were involved in this. Our soldiers have also been injured in the incident. The police dispersed the crowd by using force. The survey team has left after completing its work. At present the situation is peaceful and everything is going well.
