UP police caught illegal international telephone exchange Gujarati

SWAT team has seized illegal international telephone exchange at Lisadi Gate Lakhipura in Meerut. Three accused have been arrested, while more than 200 SIM boxes and other devices have been found. Foreign connections have also come to light in this entire matter, regarding which police officers are engaged in investigation. An international telephone exchange was being operated illegally inside a house in Lisadi Gate, Lakhipura Street, 18, Meerut. This illegal international telephone exchange was causing huge revenue loss to the government by converting international calls to local calls through Indian numbers. Input in this regard was given by the Telecommunication Department. After this, SWAT team was deployed for investigation. The area of ​​Lisadi Gate where high speed internet was used the most was traced and cordoned. After this, Junaid, Saqib and three other youths were caught from a house in Lakhipura Street-18. More than 200 SIMs, dozens of SIM boxes, routers and other equipment have been recovered from the accused.

When the accused were interrogated, it was revealed that this work was done with the help of SIM box technology. Foreign calls were converted to Indian numbers through the SIM box, due to which the calls were bypassed and the government did not have to pay tax on calls coming from abroad. In such a situation, there was no need to pay tax on calls coming and made from abroad.

Used to earn thousands every day by installing Chinese boxes
The accused running illegal international telephone exchanges have used Chinese equipment in their setup. Used to use. After enquiry, it was revealed that a young man from Delhi had given him all these equipments. After this he started receiving calls from China’s skyline and walk space. Most of the calls were from Western UP and some calls were from other states also. For this, SIM taken on fake ID was used. Where were these SIMs available? Investigation is being done in this regard also.
