Lucknow. The result of the recruitment examination conducted for more than 60 thousand posts of UP constable has been released on Thursday. Candidates who have passed the written exam will now appear in the document test and physical standard test. In the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Cut Off List, two and a half times the number of candidates (1,74,316) have been selected on the basis of seniority and the document test and physical standard examination will be conducted in the third week of December. All the candidates who appeared in the constable written examination can check the result by visiting the official website (uppbpb.gov.in). UP Police Constable PST and PET is the second stage of the selection process and is conducted only for those candidates who are declared successful in the written examination. It consists of two stages: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Qualifying candidates should know about UP Police Physical Eligibility. Those who will satisfy all the requirements of UP Police Constable Physical Standard Test and document verification will be called for Physical Efficiency Test.

Male candidates will have to run for this many minutes

Candidates found successful in Document Verification and Physical Standard Test will be included in UP Police race. To pass the race, male candidates will have to run 4.8 km in 25 minutes, while female candidates will have to run 2.4 km in 14 minutes. Candidates should note that those who are unable to complete their race will not be eligible.

Height of female candidates

To become a constable in Uttar Pradesh Police, the height of female candidates belonging to General/Other Backward Class and Scheduled Caste category should be 152 cm. Whereas the minimum height of Scheduled Tribe women candidates should be 147 cm.

Height of male candidates

In UP Police Constable Recruitment, the height of male candidates belonging to General/Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes should be minimum 168 cm, while for male candidates of Scheduled Tribe, the minimum height should be 160 cm.

Apart from this, the chest of male candidates should be 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm when expanded. Chest of candidates belonging to reserved categories should be 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm after expansion.

How will the medical test be done?

At last the candidates have to undergo medical test. In this, along with the height, chest and weight of the candidates, eyesight, hearing, teeth and overall physical fitness is examined. After going through all these rounds the final list is prepared.
