STF Inspector Sunil Kumar martyred, injured in Shamli encounter, four miscreants including a reward of Rs 1 lakh were killed

Gurugram. Injured Inspector Sunil Kumar, who had killed four criminals in an encounter a day earlier in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, has been martyred. The inspector was also hit by several bullets during the encounter. The seriously injured inspector was admitted to Medanta Hospital for treatment on Thursday, where he died on Wednesday afternoon. It is being told that Sunil was hit by three bullets in the stomach. Due to this his large intestine was badly damaged.

It is noteworthy that, late on Monday night, four miscreants were killed by STF in an encounter in Shamli. In this encounter, four criminals including Arshad carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh were killed. STF Inspector Sunil Kumar was also hit by bullets in the firing, due to which he was injured.

At the same time, even after the Inspector was injured, he opened fire on the four miscreants. All four miscreants were taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared them dead. The deceased miscreants were identified as Arshad resident of Gangoh Saharanpur, Manjeet, Satish and Manbir resident of Haryana carrying a reward of one lakh. A carbine, two pistols, a pistol, pistols and cartridges were recovered from the miscreants.

It is being told that Inspector Sunil was a resident of Mussoorie village of Meerut. Sunil was previously posted in the Arms Force. Earlier he was a company commander in PAC. Had joined STF only 25 years ago. He was involved in many encounters including Dadua and Thokiya. He has played an important role in killing many criminals. Apart from this, Sunil had also contributed significantly in killing Anil Dujana, Aadesh and Dheeraj.
