Today the Yogi government has made complete preparations for Dev Diwali. On this occasion of Kartik Purnima, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate Namo Ghat. Dev will also mark the beginning of Diwali. Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Hardeep Puri will also be present on this occasion. Yogi government is illuminating the ghats with 12 lakh lamps today to make Dev Diwali grand. With public participation, the number of these lamps will cross 17 lakhs. For today's special occasion, more than 3 lakh lamps have been made from cow dung.

3D laser show in Dev Diwali festival
Today, in the Dev Diwali festival in Varanasi, the history of Kashi, stories of saints and sages and the importance of Ganga river's “descent on earth” will be shown through a 3D laser show. This 25-minute 3D laser show, a blend of tradition and modern technology, will be shown four times a day – at 5:30 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm and 8:45 pm. This laser show will use 24 high-powered projectors, which will create a vibrant image of the religious and cultural development of Kashi on the historical buildings of the Ghats.
