Hail alert in these districts of UP, strong wind and rain in many districts including Lucknow

Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, the weather in the Terai and western areas including the capital Lucknow took a sudden turn on Sunday. There was a dust storm with drizzle in the capital Lucknow in the morning and for some time the sky was covered with dense dark clouds. Many people leaving for work in the morning were seen wearing raincoats as a precaution. At the same time, there was light rain along with strong wind in about 15 cities of the state and western districts of NCR including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Ayodhya.

Weather patterns will continue to change like this

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain with thunder and lightning in 35 districts of the state and hailstorm alert in 10 districts. The department estimates that the weather patterns in the state will continue to change like this for the next 48 hours. The effect of rain and strong winds was also visible on agriculture. Standing crops have bowed in many areas, which has increased the concern of farmers. However, the drop in temperature has definitely brought some relief to the people from the humidity and increasing heat.

Another western disturbance likely to become active from March 19

According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist of the Zonal Meteorological Center, due to active western disturbance, light rain has started in many districts of the state. There is a possibility of rain in the eastern and western areas for the next two days and winds may blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of hailstorm at some places. Apart from this, another western disturbance is likely to become active from March 19. This can have a widespread impact on the weather of the state.
