Upcoming Cars: Skoda Auto has revealed the global debut date of its new electric SUV Skoda Epiq. The company will present this compact EV to the world on 19 May 2026. This will be Skoda’s smallest electric car to date, positioned below the current lineup. This car is based on Volkswagen’s MEB+ platform, which enables it to deliver modern technology and better performance.
Range and battery
The Skoda Epiq EV was first presented as a concept in 2024 and now its production model is about to be revealed. The company claims that this electric SUV will give a range of up to 425 kilometers once fully charged. Although the official information about the battery pack has not been revealed yet, it is expected that 34 kWh and 54 kWh battery options can be found in it.

In terms of design, Skoda Epic has been given a sporty and futuristic look. It has a ‘tech-deck’ front face, T-shaped LED DRLs and sleek projector headlights. Black cladding, roof rails and strong stance are seen in the side profile. At the rear, T-shaped taillights and roof spoiler give it premium appeal.
Interior and Features
Its cabin has been kept modern and premium. It is expected to have a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.24-inch digital driver display. Along with this, features like wireless charging, ambient lighting and physical AC control will also be provided. This will be a 5-seater SUV, which will have a boot space of 475 liters.
Potential price and competition
Its price in the international market can be kept around Skoda Kamiq. There is currently no information regarding its launch in India, but if it comes here then it will compete with vehicles like Hyundai Creta EV, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV and Maruti e Vitara.
