Upcoming Skoda Car Launches: What The Rest Of 2026 Will Look Like
Škoda Auto launched the updated Kushaq in the market this year, and it has already started reaching dealerships. Deliveries of the Kushaq have also begun, and over the last couple of years, Škoda as a brand has seen steady growth in the Indian market. The company now plans to maintain this momentum and expand its lineup with new and updated products. Here is a list of cars that Škoda plans to launch in India in the coming months.
Škoda Slavia is next in line for an update after the Kushaq. Škoda has been testing the Slavia for quite some time, and spy shots of the same have surfaced online. Just like the SUV, the Slavia facelift will come with revised headlamps, alloy wheels, front and rear bumpers, grille, and tail lamps. It will also feature an updated touchscreen infotainment system, a larger driver display, and possibly a rear-seat massager.
It will continue with the same 1.0-litre TSI engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmission. The sedan will also retain the 1.5-litre TSI engine option, which comes with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The Slavia facelift is expected to be launched in the coming months.
Škoda Kylaq has turned out to be a game-changer for Škoda in the Indian market. It is currently the fastest-selling Škoda in India, with over 50,000 units sold in just over a year. This sub-4-metre SUV offers a good mix of comfort, features, and performance.

Škoda is expected to launch a Sportline version of the Kylaq this year. It will be a sportier-looking variant with blacked-out elements. It will continue to use the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. With this update, Škoda might also introduce a new 8-speed automatic transmission, replacing the current 6-speed unit.
Škoda Kodiaq had its diesel engine discontinued earlier due to stricter emission norms. However, Škoda has recently expressed its intention to reintroduce diesel engines in select models in limited numbers.

The Kodiaq is expected to be one of the SUVs to receive this update. It will likely be brought to India as a CBU, which means it will be priced at a premium. It is expected to use a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine producing around 190 hp and 360 Nm of torque, paired with a 4×4 system. The Kodiaq diesel is expected to launch later this year.

Apart from the diesel, Škoda will also introduce the performance-oriented RS variant of the Kodiaq. The Škoda Kodiaq RS will feature blacked-out exterior elements, an RS-specific bumper, and other cosmetic enhancements. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine generating around 263 PS and 370 Nm of torque.
Škoda Octavia RS saw its first batch of 100 units sell out quickly. Encouraged by the strong response, Škoda is planning to introduce a second batch in India.

The sports sedan will remain largely unchanged in terms of design, although it may receive a couple of additional features. It will continue to offer sporty seats with Suedia and leatherette upholstery, a 13-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, three-zone climate control, a 12-speaker Canton audio system, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.
It will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 265 bhp and 370 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.4 seconds. Prices for the second batch are expected to be slightly higher.

Škoda Superb is also expected to make a comeback with a diesel engine. Just like the Kodiaq diesel, it will be brought in as a CBU and will be part of the same strategy.
The Superb diesel is likely to come with a 4×4 option and will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine producing around 188 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission. The sedan is also expected to launch later this year.
