Upendra Kushwaha again increases political stir, opens his door regarding Rajya Sabha elections

Upendra Kushwaha On Rajya Sabha Election: A tug of war has started within the alliance regarding the elections to be held next month on five Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar. According to mathematics, two seats are certain to go to JDU and two to BJP. During a press conference today, when Upendra Kushwaha was asked about his re-election, he calmly called it an internal matter of NDA. Earlier he claimed that his party was promised one MLC and one Rajya Sabha seat by the BJP.

Upendra Kushwaha is currently a Rajya Sabha member from BJP quota. When he was asked in the press conference whether the party would repeat him after his tenure ends, he said that NDA leaders will decide it. Last time when I was given membership, NDA had considered all aspects. Even today this is a topic within the alliance. When journalists jokingly asked whether his work was over after the elections, Kushwaha retorted and asked, “Which work is over?”

Party’s demand and Chirag’s stance

Even though Upendra Kushwaha has maintained suspense, his party spokespersons have made it clear that there was an agreement with BJP to send him to Rajya Sabha even before the assembly elections. In such a situation, the party wants Upendra Kushwaha to get another chance. On the other hand, the speculations about Chirag Paswan’s mother Reena Paswan going to Rajya Sabha have also come to an end. Chirag has made it clear that his mother wants to stay away from active politics. The election on these five seats in Bihar will not only lay the electoral chessboard for 2027, but will also show the importance of small parties within the NDA.
