To take the digital and educational cooperation between India and Nepal to a new level, an important agreement has been signed between Kathmandu University and India’s ‘Digital India Bhashini’ project.

This partnership with Nepal will further strengthen cross-border digital payment systems and accelerate regional economic integration.

Economic and trade relations will get a boost

This digital cooperation will also make business transactions between the two countries easier. Small and medium businesses (MSMEs) will particularly benefit as they will no longer have to deal with the complexities of international payment systems.

The initiative is also expected to boost the tourism industry as travelers will be able to make digital payments easily.
