New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has started the UPPSC Combined State Engineering Services (general, special recruitment) exam 2024 application process. Candidates can fill out the UPPSC AE recruitment 2024 application for combined engineering services through the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date to apply is January 17, 2025. The fee reconciliation and application form correction last date is January 24, 2025.
The UPPSC official notice states that a one-time registration (OTR) is mandatory before applying online. Candidates can submit the online application form only once the OTR is generated. ‘It is mandatory for the candidates to make One Time Registration (OTR) and obtain OTR Number before applying online. Those candidates who have not obtained OTR number, may obtain it from commission’s website otr.pariksha.nic.in 72 hours before the submission of online application,’ the official notification reads.
As per the UPPSC recruitment drive, a total of 604 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Engineer will be filled.
UPPSC AE Recruitment 2024: Steps to apply online
Candidates need to follow the steps detailed below to register and complete the application process-
- Step 1: First, visit the official website of the commission at uppsc.up.nic.in
- Step 2: Click on the ‘UPPSC Recruitment 2024’ link and complete the registration process.
- Step 3: Once the registration is done, log in to fill out the application form.
- Step 4: Upload the necessary documents in the specified format.
- Step 5: Make payment of the application fee.
- Step 6: Check the details entered in the form and then submit it.
- Step 7: Once done, download the confirmation page and take the hard copy of it.
