UPPSC PCS Pre exam 2024 Date : Public Service Commission has announced the new date of PCS exam on Friday. PCS 24 preliminary exam will be held on December 22. The pre examination of PCS 24 will be conducted in two shifts on the same day. The Commission has announced a new date after the agitation by the candidates. Accepting the demands of the agitating students, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Thursday withdrew its decision to conduct the PCS examination in two days. Earlier the PCS exam was to be held on 07-08 December, but now it will be held on the same day on 22 December.

At the same time, the issue of conducting RO ARO exam for two days has not been resolved yet. Still many students are protesting outside the headquarters of the Public Service Commission, but now that crowd is not visible there. After the intervention of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Commission has removed the 'one day one shift' and normalization of the candidates. The demand has been accepted. After this decision, the Commission has officially announced it by issuing a notice on its official website. However, the Commission has not yet given any information regarding the exam date of UP PCS and RO/ARO. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the website for latest updates.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 i.e. UP PCS Examination and released the new exam date. After four days of protest by the candidates outside the UPPSC Head Office located in Prayagraj, the Commission has accepted the demand of the candidates for 'one day one shift'. Now this examination will be conducted in a single day. The Commission has given this information by issuing a notice on its official website.

In the latest notice issued on the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in, it is written, 'Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024, which was to be held in two days on 7th and 8th December 2024, will now be held in one day. It will be conducted in two sessions on 22 December 2024. The first shift will be conducted from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. More than 10 lakh (10,76,004) candidates are expected to appear in this examination.

UP PCS exam postponed for the fourth time

According to the exam calendar released by UPPSC, the preliminary exam of UP PCS 2024 was earlier scheduled to be held on March 17, but due to the leak of RO/ARO paper on February 11, five exams including PCS were postponed. After this, the PCS exam scheduled in June and then October was postponed. Now it was to be held on 7th and 8th December, which has been postponed (for the fourth time) after the performance of the candidates. Now this examination will be held on 22 December 2024.
