Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) preliminary examination 2024 today, October 16. The UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam, which was set to take place on October 27 has been postponed. The exam authority has not provided a clear explanation for the decision to postpone the UPPSC PCS prelims exam date 2024.
The Commission has also stated that the examination is likely to be conducted in December. It has also released an official notice regarding this change. All candidates registered for the UPPSC PCS recruitment 2024 can check the revised exam date on the official portal at uppsc.up.nic.in. The exam authority has also stated that all the registered candidates will be informed regarding the revised exam date and other details in due course.
The UPPSC has not postponed the PCS Prelims exam for the first time. Previously, the written exam was scheduled for March 17 but was postponed due to speculations of a paper leak.

The exam authority is likely to release the revised UPPSC PCS Prelims admit card 2024 as per the new exam date. The UPPSC PCS hall ticket 2024 will be released at least 10 days before the exam date. All the registered candidates have to download UPPSC PCS Prelims call letter 2024 with valid login credentials. The mandatory login credentials are registration number and date of birth. Aspirants must note that hall ticket download pdf will be available on the official portal at uppsc.up.nic.in.
