Uproar in UP Assembly over Home Minister Amit Shah's statement: Supplementary budget passed, House proceedings adjourned indefinitely

Lucknow. As soon as the proceedings of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative session began, Samajwadi Party members protested and raised slogans against the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah. SP members had reached the Assembly carrying the photo of Dr. Ambedkar. There was a lot of uproar during the proceedings of the House. Amidst this uproar the supplementary budget was passed. After this the proceedings of the House were adjourned indefinitely.

Seeing the uproar, the Assembly Speaker appealed to other members to ask questions but no one asked questions. During this period, the proceedings of the House continued amidst uproar. SP members are raising slogans of 'Hindustan will not tolerate this insult of Jai Bhim and Baba Saheb'.

At the same time, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey said that in a democracy everyone has every right to protest and express their views, but this government is running in a dictatorial manner. Today is the fourth day of proceedings of the UP Legislature.
