UP’s ‘Go-Economy’ model becomes global brand… UP’s Go products reaching more than 10 countries including UK, USA, Australia
Lucknow, Read: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Prosperity through Cow Protection’ model is now making its mark at the global level. The ethical dairy model developed in Uttar Pradesh with the help of indigenous cows has made UP famous in more than 10 countries including UK, USA, Australia. Through ‘Heta’, this model based on more than a thousand indigenous cows has now reached an annual turnover of about Rs 10 crore.
Asim Rawat, resident of Sikandarpur, Ghaziabad, started this campaign with the inspiration of Chief Minister Yogi. After working as an engineer for 14 years in software companies of many countries including America, he made cow conservation his mission. Today, with a team of 100 people, he has established products based on indigenous cows as a global brand. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also performed the aarti and cow worship of the Sahiwal cow preserved with this model.
Under the Heta model, about 150 types of products including A2 milk, Bilona ghee, Brahmi ghee, Shatdhaut ghee, cookies, laddus, herbal tea, skin-hair care and cow urine extract are being manufactured. Apart from India, these products are reaching America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Singapore and Dubai.
Old cattle also made a part of the economic model
The biggest feature of this model is that here the old cattle are not considered a burden. They have been linked to the cow-based economy by making them a part of the conservation system. A large network of dairy, panchagavya, ayurvedic and organic products has been created through holistic use of indigenous breeds. This has also promoted employment and self-reliance at the rural level.
