New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to release the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 notification. According to the UPSC calendar 2025, the UPSC Civil Services notification 2025 will be released on January 22. The UPSC Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) notification 2025 will also be released along with CSE. Interested candidates who want to appear for UPSC Civil Services Examination must meet all the prerequisites set by the exam authority.
The UPSC Civil Services registration window will be available from January 22 to February 11, 2025. Candidates are advised to refer to the official UPSC CSE notification regarding the details of the correction window, eligibility criteria, age limit, and others. UPSC Civil Services educational qualification
Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility conditions are only eligible to apply for UPSC Civil Services Examination. One must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university to register for the exam.
UPSC Civil Services number of attempts
All the candidates are allowed to appear for a total of six times for the UPSC Civil Services exam. It is nine attempts for candidates belonging to the OBC and PwBD categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for SC and ST category candidates.
