UPSC Civil Services Result 2025: Anuj Agnihotri secures AIR 1 – Check merit list

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on Friday, March 6. The result marks the completion of the entire selection process, including the Preliminary examination, Main examination, and Personality Test (Interview).

Candidates recommended in the final merit list will be appointed to prestigious services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other central services.

Anuj Agnihotri tops UPSC CSE 2025

According to the official merit list released by the commission, Anuj Agnihotri has secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Civil Services Examination 2025.

The final result PDF includes the names, roll numbers and ranks of all recommended candidates who successfully cleared the three stages of the examination.

Candidates can check the final result by following these steps:

Visit the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in.
Go to the “Examinations” or “What’s New” section on the homepage.
Click on the link titled “Final Result – Civil Services Examination, 2025.”
Download the PDF merit list and search for your name or roll number.

Civil Services Exam 2025 timeline

The CSE 2025 examination cycle began with the Preliminary examination on May 25, 2025with results announced on June 11, 2025. The Main examination was conducted between August 22 and August 31, 2025and its results were declared on November 11, 2025.

The Personality Test (Interview) stage concluded in late February 2026following which the commission released the final merit list on March 6, 2026.
