UPSC CSE Final result 2025 declared; Anuj Agnihotri tops exam
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Civil Services 2025 result today, March 6. Anuj Agnihotri secured the first position in the UPSC Civil Services 2025 exam. Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull are among the candidates who secured the top three positions. This year, 180 candidates have been selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
Candidates who secured the top 10 positions in the Civil Services Examination include Raghav Jhunjhunwala, Ishaan Bhatnagar, Zenia Arora, AR Raja Mohaddin, Pakshal Secretary, Aastha Jain and Ujjwal Priyank.
180 candidates to become IAS, 150 to be IPS
As per the UPSC official notice, recruitment has been announced for a total of 958 posts. Out of the total qualified candidates, 180 will join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 55 will join the Indian Foreign Service and 150 will join the Indian Police Service (IPS). Of the 180 IAS positions, 74 are unreserved, while 28 are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) category candidates, 13 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates, 47 for the Other Backward Caste (OBC) and 18 for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates.
UPSC Civil Service exam date
The UPSC Civil Services prelims exam was held on May 25 last year. The Main exam was conducted from August 22 to August 31, 2025. The final round of exam, the personality test or interview concluded on February 27, 2026.
After the main exam, 2,736 students were called for interviews. Interviews for this important UPSC exam began on January 5 and continued until February 27. The marks are uploaded on the UPSC website within 15 days of the result declaration.
