UPSC ESE 2025 registration window reopens at upsc.gov.in; check details here

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has reopened the application window for the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 today, October 18, 2024. It has taken this decision to include post of the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS). The IRMS vacancies will be available in the sub-cadres of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom and Stores. Interested candidates can apply online for UPSC ESE 2025 through the official portal at upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2025 application window will be available from October 18 to 22, 2024. The exam authority has also issued new dates for the modification of the application form. The UPSC ESE edit window will be from November 23 to 29, 2024. The UPSC ESE vacancies also increased from 252 to 457. Aspirants must note that the eligibility criteria, application fee and other details remain the same.

The Commission has announced that the UPSC ESE Preliminary examination will be conducted on June 8, 2025. Candidates will be shortlisted for the posts based on the written examination followed by an interview.
