UPSSSC Recruitment 2026: Application for 1829 posts starts from July 14
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has issued recruitment notification for 1829 posts of Auditor and Assistant Accountant. The online application process will start from 14th July 2026 and candidates will be able to apply till 3rd August.

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Auditor and Assistant Accountant. A total of 1829 vacant posts will be filled under the recruitment drive. Interested candidates will be able to participate in the application process from July.

There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notification for Auditor and Assistant Accountant Main Examination 2026. Under this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be selected on a total of 1829 vacant posts. According to the Commission, the online application process will start from July 14, 2026, while the last date for submission of applications has been fixed as August 3, 2026.
The application process will be completely online. Official website of Candidate Commission Will be able to apply through. Along with this, candidates will also get the opportunity to make amendments in the application form. Candidates who make any kind of error during the application will be able to make corrections within the stipulated time.
It is mandatory to have PET 2025 scorecard.
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have a valid scorecard of PET 2025. The Commission has clarified that only those candidates will be eligible to apply who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and their score is valid.
As educational qualification, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university or institute. Additional qualification and subject eligibility conditions may also apply for some posts. Candidates are advised to study the detailed notification before applying.
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age is 40 years. However, as per the rules of the state government, relaxation in the maximum age limit will be given to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and other reserved categories as per rules.
There will be 100 questions in the main exam
A total of 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the main examination conducted by UPSSSC. The exam will be of 100 marks and will include questions from subjects like Auditing, Fundamentals of Accounting, Final Accounts, Double Accounting System, Bank Reconciliation Statement, General Knowledge of Financial Rules, Advanced Accountancy, Taxation and Arithmetic.
Candidates will also have to keep in mind that there will be a provision for negative marking in the examination. One-fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. In such a situation, candidates should answer only those questions about which they have adequate knowledge.
