US career wavers in front of Iran, Trump unleashes new threat

The war in West Asia has now reached such a point where America seems to be under pressure from all sides. On one hand, the Strait of Hormuz has not yet opened completely, on the other hand, Iran has made the route dangerous by laying mines in the sea. The situation worsened when the news of the attack on the American aircraft carrier Lincoln came out, while the largest carrier Gerald Ford is currently being repaired in Greece. That means America’s maritime power is not fully active at this time.

In such a situation, America has now had to change its strategy. For the first time, America has deployed driverless drone speed boats in the sea. The Pentagon confirmed this and said that these bots are being used in the ongoing action against Iran under Operation ‘Epic Fury’.

This is the first time that America has publicly acknowledged the use of such boats in an active war. According to the Pentagon, these drone boats have so far patrolled the sea for more than 450 hours and covered thousands of nautical miles. Their objective is to keep a constant watch on Hormuz and surrounding areas and detect danger in advance.

These drone boats can attack as well as patrol. She will become a suicide bomber and blow herself up along with the enemy. However, it has not been confirmed yet whether America has used them for direct attack or not. The use of such maritime drones has continuously increased in recent wars. Ukraine has caused huge damage to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet with such drones. Iran also carried out drone attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf.

According to the report of news agency Reuters, America has been trying for a long time to prepare such an unmanned navy so that operations can be carried out rapidly at low cost, especially to compete with China’s growing maritime power. But the project has faced many technical difficulties and delays.

According to the report, this drone speedboat named GARC is about 5 meters long. Earlier, many problems had come to light in its testing, even once during the test it collided with another boat. Recently, in a test conducted in the Middle East, a drone boat broke down and stopped. However, the Pentagon has refused to comment further on these technical problems.
