In a survey released regarding the presidential election in America, Republican Party candidate Donald Trump is maintaining a slight lead over Democratic Party candidate and his rival Kamala Harris. It is noteworthy that elections in America are to be held on November 5.

According to reports, the survey shows Trump with a 47 percent to 45 percent lead over Kamala Harris, a lead that comes within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
Politico reported that Harris had a 2-point lead, which was within the margin of error, based on a poll the newspaper reported in August. The Republican Party and Democratic Party presidential candidates are not only neck-and-neck at the national level. Rather, swing states are also the ones that will ultimately decide the winner of the Electoral College. A poll conducted by the Washington Post in those states on Monday showed that Trump and Harris have a narrow lead, Politico reported.
The poll, conducted by The Wall Street Journal, surveyed 1,500 registered voters between October 19–22. According to the survey, voters view Trump more favorably than Harris. The report said Trump's favorability of 48 percent in a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal is his highest ever.
