He claimed that serious talks are going on between the two countries to completely end the ongoing tension in the Middle East.

This round of discussions will continue throughout the week.

‘No military attack for 5 days’

Trump further said in his social media post that in view of the positive attitude of intensive and detailed discussions between the two countries, I have directed the US Defense Department to postpone for five days all military attacks on Iran’s power plants and energy infrastructure. Earlier, the British Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement saying that Trump and Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke on the phone on Sunday night. The two leaders discussed the current situation, particularly the need to reopen the Strait of Hormuz so that global shipping can resume.

Trump had threatened Iran
