Raipur. Tension in the Middle East has reached its peak due to the war between America, Israel and Iran. In view of this dire conflict situation, the Chhattisgarh government has taken precautionary measures and appointed a nodal officer to assist and coordinate the citizens of the state present in West Asia.

According to the order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Lekha Ajagalle, Liaison Officer, Office of the Residential Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Bhawan, New Delhi has been made the nodal officer. He has been given the responsibility of providing transportation to the West Asia region and necessary assistance to the citizens of Chhattisgarh present there.
