New Delhi : Both America and Israel have been attacking Iran for the past few days. This has also caused great damage. This attack is also being strongly retaliated by Iran. Many Indians are stuck in these countries. Special preparations are being made by the Government of India to bring them back home.

The ongoing tensions in West Asia have had a major impact on air services. The Union government on Tuesday announced that airlines have made significant changes to their flight schedules and plan to operate a total of 58 flights on Wednesday (Dec 4). The civil aviation ministry said special arrangements are being made to help the stranded passengers. Airlines are operating additional flights as per requirement and foreign aviation authorities and Indian embassies are working diligently to ensure safe and orderly movement of passengers.

Meanwhile, 24 flights are being operated by Indian airlines. Additionally, Emirates and Etihad Airways have operated nine flights from the Gulf countries in the last 24 hours. The government said it is in constant touch with airlines and monitoring airline fares to ensure that ticket prices do not increase unnecessarily during this crisis. The ministry said Indian airlines have gradually started resuming long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights via alternative routes.
