Regarding this action, America has claimed that this ship had tried to avoid its naval blockade. At the same time, Iran has vowed to retaliate against the US Navy. After which the ceasefire seems to be ending even before its final period.

In fact, US President Donald Trump has started a blockade on Iranian ports to force Iran into an agreement. This is the first case since the blockade started last week, when a ship has been stopped. According to news agency AP, Iran’s state broadcaster said that Iran’s Joint Military Command has declared this incident of armed soldiers boarding the ship as piracy and a violation of the ceasefire. With tensions rising between the US and Iran over the Strait of Hormuz and a ceasefire set to expire by Wednesday, it is now unclear what will happen to President Donald Trump’s earlier announcement regarding new talks with Iran. He had said that American negotiators would go to Pakistan on Monday.
Oil prices rose once again due to uncertainty in the Strait of Hormuz. One of the biggest global energy crises in decades is at risk of deepening. US President Trump said on social media that a US Navy guided missile destroyer based in the Gulf of Oman warned the Iranian-flagged ship, the ‘Touska’, to stop, and then “punched a hole in its engine room and stopped it there.” U.S. Marines had taken custody of a ship that had been sanctioned by the United States, and were “looking at what was on board!”
It was not clear whether anyone was injured in this incident or not. US Central Command, which did not respond to questions about the issue, said the destroyer had “given repeated warnings over a six-hour period.” There was no direct comment from Iranian officials on Trump’s announcement of talks. However, Iranian state media, without naming anyone, issued small reports quoting unnamed sources indicating that such talks would not take place.
Minutes after the announcement of the plane’s seizure, Iranian state media reported a phone conversation between President Massoud Pezeshkian and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday. The reports quoted Pezeshkian as saying that US actions—including bullying and arbitrary behavior—have increased suspicions that the US will repeat its old habits and “betray diplomacy.”
