US President Trump’s claim – war with Iran will end soon
Florida, March 10. Due to tension in the countries of the Middle East, the oil crisis has started increasing in many countries of the world. Due to disruption in oil trade, many countries are facing shortage of essential gas and fuel. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has claimed that the military operation in Iran will end very soon. However, he did not give a timeline as to when this war would end. Earlier, Trump had termed it an ‘excursion’ and said that America will eliminate this threat.
US President Trump said this during a press conference in Florida. When a reporter asked him about his past comments on calling Iran an “excursion” and when the military operation would end, Trump said, “Very soon.” See, everything he had is gone, including his leadership. Actually, two levels of his leadership, and actually more as it turns out, but two levels of leadership are gone. Most people have never even heard of the leaders they are talking about. So obviously it has been very, very powerful, very effective.
In his speech before speaking in front of the media, Trump said about Iran, ‘They were going to take over the Middle East and they were going to try to destroy Israel. So we stopped it at the right time and we are very proud to be involved in this and it is going to end soon, and if it starts again they will suffer even more damage.
Trump also claimed that Iran’s military was destroyed in the first two days of Operation Epic Fury and called it a resounding success. Trump said, ‘They (Iran) have no navy, air force, anti-aircraft equipment. It’s all been blown away. They have no radar, telecommunication, leadership. It’s all over. We can call this a resounding success now, or we can go further. And we are going to go further. But the major risk of that war is over for three days. We eliminated them in the first two days. When you think about it, it’s incredible.’
When asked about Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Trump expressed his displeasure and said, ‘I was disappointed because we feel that this will increase the same problems for the country. I was disappointed to see his choice.
It is noteworthy that 56-year-old Khamenei was elected to the country’s highest post by the 88-member Assembly of Experts. The Organization of Religious Leaders confirmed that he was appointed and presented as the third Leader of the Sacred System of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the significant vote of the respected representatives of the Assembly of ‘Experts’.
The change comes amid heightened unrest in the region following a military campaign that resulted in the death of former leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran launched retaliatory attacks targeting US military bases in several Arab countries and Israeli assets throughout the region.
