US War Powers Act: US Senate has laid a ‘legal trap’ to encircle Trump, there will be no option except withdrawing the army within 15 days
Washington: US President Donald Trump may be proudly saying to the world that ‘Iran is dying to make a deal’, but the truth is that the real nervousness is in his own camp. If no agreement is reached in the next 15 days, the situation will become such that Trump himself may have to join hands with Iran. The main reason for this is the controversy in America regarding the ‘War Powers Act’ (US War Powers Act), which is going to cut into Trump’s powers. Today, a ‘legal trap’ is being laid in the US Senate to encircle Trump, which will tie his hands and prevent him from continuing the war without the consent of the Parliament.

The Democrats in America have decided that they will not let Trump alone decide the fate of the country. He is going to vote to reduce Trump’s powers in Congress under the War Powers Act. There is a law in America called ‘War Powers Act’. This law says that the President can fight a war only for 60 days without the consent of Congress i.e. Parliament. It has been 45 days since the war with Iran started. This means that now Trump has only 15 days of ‘grace period’ left. Democratic leader Chuck Schumer has clearly said that Trump has sidelined Parliament and he will not let this happen again. Today Senator Tammy Duckworth is going to vote to stop this war.

Amidst all this drama, the Republican Party is still standing strongly with its President. He says that Trump’s ‘Iran Mission’ has been very successful and he will soon end this war. Republican leader John Thune even said that Trump has a clear plan and soon these questions from Parliament will not be needed.
