‘Use me…’ Blinkit delivery boy did such a dirty thing with a woman, people got angry on the internet

A woman has shared on social media a very scary and bad experience she had during delivery through the quick commerce app Blinkit. After this incident, serious questions have once again arisen regarding the safety and privacy of women. The victim woman wrote a long post on the professional social network LinkedIn alleging that when a delivery partner brought a sexual health product to her home, he made very sexual and lewd comments to her over the phone.

The woman told in her post that this entire incident has shaken her to the core. Their worry and fear is also very high because the person who came to deliver the goods knew the exact home address of the woman. As soon as this woman’s post went viral, a huge online debate has started across the country on women’s safety, customer privacy during delivery and conservative social taboos related to sexual health products.

Asked on phone- where are you? and then came home and started staring

According to the victim woman, this entire incident happened around 1:35 pm. She told that she is even more surprised and upset by this because she has been using this app for the last several years and her experience has always been very good. But the experience of that day was like a nightmare. The woman had ordered a sexual wellness product from the Blinkit app that day. The delivery partner called him just before reaching his home and asked for his location.

He asked on the call, “Mam, Blinkit is on order, where are you?” To this the woman replied in a very normal manner, “I am at home brother, you come and ring the bell.” But the story took a turn when he knocked on the door. The woman said that as soon as she opened the door, the dirty manner in which the delivery person was staring at her from top to bottom made her extremely uncomfortable. Due to discomfort, the woman quickly took her packet in her hand and immediately closed the door.

The packet was opened and then that scary call came.

When the woman saw the goods shortly after closing the door, she was stunned. The package was not sealed properly and was open. Before she could understand anything or complain to the company, her phone rang. It was the call from the same delivery person who had just passed their door.

According to his LinkedIn post, the first thing the delivery boy asked as soon as he picked up the phone was, “Mam, what is this?” The woman replied in a stern tone, “Whatever it is, what does it mean to you?” On hearing this reply from the woman, the delivery partner came to his senses and said something very rude. The woman claimed that the delivery partner further said, “Why are you using all this ma’am, use me… I will give you a lot of fun.”

Started apologizing after receiving threat

The woman wrote in her post that she became completely numb after hearing these obscene words from the delivery boy’s mouth. His brain had stopped working. He told that the most scary and disturbing thing in this whole situation was the realization that the unknown person who made such dirty and obscene comments knew the exact address of his house.

When the woman controlled herself and issued a stern threat to immediately report him to the police and the company, the delivery partner lost his courage and started apologizing on the phone itself. However, the woman says that a simple apology from the man could never reduce the fear, mental stress and anxiety that she felt at that moment and continuously since then.

Customer support gave assurance, but the woman raised big questions

The woman contacted the company immediately after this incident. The woman said that the customer service representatives of Blinkit immediately registered her serious complaint and assured her that strict action would be taken in this matter. However, despite this, the woman has raised many tough questions to the society and the company through her post.

He directly raised the question that what concrete measures have been taken for the safety of women in such unsafe conditions? Along with this he asked why such sensitive and personal orders were sent without being properly sealed or open? Directly tagging the Blinkit company, he asked what legal action has been taken against that delivery partner so far and why was that package opened in the first place?

To put forward her point strongly, the woman has also shared two important evidences related to the incident along with the LinkedIn post. The first picture shows the delivery package which was partially opened, with the product inside clearly visible as the paper bag was not sealed. The second picture is a chat screenshot of his conversation with Blinkit customer support, which clearly shows that he immediately raised the issue with the company.

As soon as this post went viral on different social media platforms, people’s anger and concern flooded the comment section. Internet users have expressed huge displeasure over this security lapse.

“This is truly appalling and I’m so sorry you had to go through such a bad experience. No woman should have to feel unsafe, disrespected or sexualized in this way after ordering a perfectly legal product from her own home. Companies should take strong action against this.”
