They argue that users should not have the right to listen to conversations or store information without permission.

Meanwhile, Google has denied all the allegations. However, the company has decided to settle earlier to avoid lengthy legal process and huge costs of litigation. Incidentally, in 2021, Apple also had to pay 95 million dollars for complaints against their voice assistant. Google, like other tech companies, has faced various privacy-related lawsuits in recent years. The tech giant agreed to pay $1.4 billion to the Texas state government last year. Allegations of breach of privacy were also raised in this case.
