According to experts, the use of blue tooth earphones while driving is increasing rapidly among the youth. These cases are especially high among bike drivers. Apart from this, use of blue tooth mic in cars and other four-wheelers has also become a cause of accidents.
Dr. Sharad Pandey of Neurosurgery Department at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital says that in the year 2023, 17017 patients were admitted with head injuries. Of these, 60 percent patients had arrived injured in a road accident. And 30 percent of the patients were two-wheeler drivers. Most of the people injured in road accidents have been found to be using blue tooth earphones. This problem is increasing rapidly especially among the youth. He says that head injury is quite fatal. If timely treatment is not received, the patient may even die.
Not wearing helmet is a big reason
Not wearing a helmet while riding two-wheelers is becoming a major cause of accidents. In 30 percent of the injured who came to RML, not wearing a helmet became the cause of the accident. In this, a large level of carelessness regarding helmet has been found among both the bike driver and the person sitting behind the bike.
